This course guides key personnel from local jurisdictions through the DHS Risk Management process with emphasis on the on-site field evaluations. Individuals participate as members of multi-disciplinary teams to conduct comprehensive risk, capabilities and needs assessments with emphasis on the need for mitigation equipment, training and exercises.
Prerequisites: AWR-160 WMD Awareness for Emergency Responders
Class size is limited to the first 40 qualified applicants
